In April, Citec Russia celebrated its 10-year anniversary with customers and personnel.

As well as hearing about Citec Russias milestones, the party participants got to test their driving skills in a karting race.
“Citec Russia was founded to better serve our partners and key customers at the time, companies like Wärtsilä Power and Ruukki”, said Magnus Forsbäck, General Director for Citec Russia in his speech. “The time of doing Russian design and documentation from abroad came to an end and local specialists, licenses and juridical entities were needed. Here, Citec saw an opportunity to increase services also to our Western-European partners in other Citec countries. The same concept has given us many interesting opportunities and kept us successful when many of our competitors have decided to leave.”
Only a few days later, shopping centre 4Daily had its grand opening in Mytishchi, Moscow. Citec Russia acted as General Designer for the shopping centre and was behind the open architecture that was greatly appreciated by the investors.
